Easy Nutribullet Smoothie Recipe
I purchased the Nutribullet for my husband's Birthday in July and we both have absolutely been loving it since! The wonderful thing about it is that it extracts all the nutrients from anything you add to the mixture such as fruits, veggies, spinach, oats, etc. so that you're able to get the full benefits of the foods in smoothie form. It is extremely powerful and easy to clean up too! If you don't have one I would highly suggest investing in one, especially if you're like us and enjoy living a healthy lifestyle or even if you're wanting to make that change! I got the 12 piece, 600-watt set for $89.99 from Kohl's and used a coupon on top of that. Today I thought I'd share with you the very first smoothie we made. Let me know if you have any questions!
Ingredients you will need:
(If you're able to get organic fruit, that is always the best choice!)
1 Slice of pineapple
1 Banana
5 Strawberries
Ice
Water
If you've never cut a pineapple before, don't worry! It's simple. When I first learned how to cut a pineapple I used these instructions. You'll need only one slice of the pineapple after cutting it for this recipe. Be sure to cut up your banana and strawberries as well. There's no need to finely chop them up though, that is what the Nutribullet is for!
Place the three ingredients into your 24-oz. cup. Top it off with a few cubes of ice and fill the cup almost half way to the "Max line" with water. Everything has now been placed! Take the extracting blade, screw it onto the cup and place it on the power base. See the Nutribullet in action in this short video I took here!
Ta-da! Your yummy fruity smoothie is finished! You can dive in or add the resealable lid and refrigerate it for later so it's extra cold! Let me know if you try this simple smoothie recipe yourself!
