Rimmel Lasting Finish Lipstick by Kate Moss

I've always heard positive things about the Rimmel Lasting Finish Lipsticks by Kate Moss but just never picked one up. I've seen Zoella wearing shade 107 countless times and have always loved it on her. She also included it in her Top 5 Drugstore Lipsticks list recently. So, I decided I needed to try it myself and thought now would be a good time since we're slowly but surely heading into the Fall season. It's a beautiful matte red that's much darker than any other red lip product I own (it appears a lot lighter on camera). The lipstick lasted for hours and I often forgot I had it on throughout the day because it's so light feeling! It's a dream to put on and the quality is amazing. Even the packaging is so classy! I picked up mine at Ulta for only $5.49 and I'm most definitely interested in trying out another color.


I used the Clear Lip Liner by Maybelline and the elf Concealer Brush to apply the lipstick at the edges and corners of my mouth for a super clean look.



If you're not used to a dark matte color you can lighten it by taking a shimmery white or champagne colored eye shadow and dabbing it on the middle of your lips. I used Champagne Fizz by Maybelline. This will also make your lips look more three dimensional. If you find it difficult to tell, refer to the above photo of myself.
