Recent Target Haul
I rarely do hauls but this recent trip to Target was just too fun not to share!

I've had a Caboodles case to hold my make-up and take it with me whenever I spent the night somewhere since I was a teenager. It definitely held up nicely but I was overdue for a new one, especially after the clasp broke off. I also needed A LOT more space to hold everything. I picked up a much larger Caboodles case called the Goddess for $29.99. It seems sturdy enough for everyday use though I don’t know how it would hold up for frequent traveling. The auto open trays do seem a little flimsy. I've read mixed reviews but I think with the right care, it will do just fine. Plus, it's not often that I spend the night anywhere. I really like that everything fits and so far I am happy with it!

My friend Britta Instagramed a photo of her newest EOS lip balm in Sweet Mint. I thought since I've never even tried their lip balms (crazy, I know!) I'd give it a shot. The scent is nice and not overpowering. I was also thrilled that it's organic! I had NO idea these were naturally made lip balms. They are also pareben and petrolatum free, packed with antioxidant-rich Vitamin E, soothing shea butter and jojoba oil. The fact that they are only $2.99 makes me even more of a fan!

I was twenty-one days into January without having a planner, which is unheard of for me. I found this cute one for $7.99 with the perfect amount of room to make note of important dates, work schedules, to-dos etc. It's not too bulky so it's a nice fit for my purse whenever I have to bring it with me.

I really like coral colored lip products and feel the color compliments me well. So, I was kind of curious about orange lipstick. Yes, orange. I mean, I have purple so why not? I chose Electric Orange by Maybelline Color Sensational Vivids for $5.99. It's definitely different and more bold looking than coral but I find that layering a lighter shade (Maybelline's Color Whispers in Coral Ambition works well) over it helps to tone it down a bit. I'll post a photo of what it looks like on in a future outfit post :)

A basic glitter polish that isn't too chunky is a must have for any nail polish junkie. I found this one called Disco Ball by Sally Hansen for $2.99 and it is absolutely perfect. I was just going to apply it to my right fingers but I continued to paint until all my nails were coated in it.

Eye cream has been scarce from my bed-time routine and since I love the Boots Expert Sensitive Gentle Refreshing Toner I decided to try their Expert Sensitive Hydrating Eye Cream for $7.29. It contains gentle ingredients that are proven to moisturize, nourish and help reduce the appearance of fine lines. It feels really nice on and since only a little is needed I'm sure it will last a long time. I do want to find something that will help with dark circles but I couldn't find anything during that particular trip.
Hope you enjoyed my little haul! Be sure to enter my Real Techniques Giveaway in celebration of four years of blogging if you haven't yet!
Disclosure: All the items listed were purchased with gift cards I received from my sweet brothers for my Birthday :)
