September Favorites
Happy October, friends! I've been seeing countdowns for the upcoming holidays all over the place which means they're just around the corner. The special foods and decorations always get me excited! Since last month was a bit of a blur to me I seem to have a few less favorites than the last time but they are good ones, I assure you!

As soon as I discovered the Real Techniques brushes by Samantha Chapman I decided I needed them. Many different YouTube Beauty Gurus have raved about them and they seemed like the perfect brushes. All of the brushes are under $10. The Expert Face Brush and Blush Brush (which I use for bronzer and blush) were each $8.99 but I went when they were BOGO 50% off. I've been using them both every day and literally can't wait until the next day when I can use them again. They are the softest brushes I have ever used on my face and they work wonderfully! I've never used a brush to apply my liquid foundation before owning the Expert Face brush and I LOVE it! It's so much better than using your hands and it looks better too. Seriously ladies, try one of these brushes out and see for yourself!
I've been waiting for the day when the Salted Caramel Mocha Frappuccino would return to me. Mmm, delicious! Starbucks describes it as: "Mocha sauce and toffee nut syrup blended with coffee, milk and ice. Topped with sweetened whipped cream, caramel sauce and a mixture of turbinado sugar and sea salt." I order mine Decaf (otherwise my heart races), Light with no whip and 2% milk. Though I realized it would probably taste fine with 1% milk (that's what my husband and I use for our cereal). Tip: Ordering your drinks without whipped cream will take off almost 100 calories of fat!

When I purchased the Real Techniques brushes I also decided to try Maybelline's Fit Me Foundation. I wear the shade 110 Porcelain. I like the way it blends and would say it has medium coverage. It's oil-free and also has SPF 18. I've been trying a few different foundations lately to find "the one". I think I'm pretty close!
With the new month also comes all the new shows! Which ones are you loving? I loved the first episode of Once Upon a Time (currently in it's third season) and I'm excited for the second season of Beauty and the Beast on the CW to start! It airs on the 7th.
