Weddings!
It's Wedding season and there have been a few recent celebrity weddings this month! Carrie Underwood and Mike Fisher had their wedding on July 10 at a Luxury Resort in Georgia. Emily Blunt and John Krasinski got married just this past Saturday. There aren't any pictures of Emily's wedding but we do know they tied the knot somewhere in Italy. It seems they kept their ceremony much more private than Carrie Underwood's so I'm not sure if we'll ever see pictures. However, Carrie and Mike's wedding is currently featured in People Magazine! I found the scans below on Carrie-Underwood.org.
Carrie is wearing a Chantilly lace and silk organza Monique Lhuillier gown. I love everything about what she is wearing from head-to-toe and of course, all the decorations! I think the use of the trees is so lovely. I don't see how anyone could not feel like they were in a Fairy Tale at this wedding. It's truly beautiful!
The 40.00 tiara is a gift from her husband. It was designed by Jonathan Arndt who was also responsible for Underwoods engagement ring as well as the couples wedding bands. The 40.00 carats of diamonds were set in 18 KT. White Gold, Victorian in Design, surrounded with diamond flowers and vines (Carrie Underwood has a passion for flowers). For a close-up of the crown please see this page.
Carrie and Mike were married under a tent before 250 guests. They only had about 30 more than I had at my wedding! I love how gorgeous the colors are and how enchating everything looks. It's like a peaceful, feminine version of Wonderland.
For the ceremony, Carrie promptly changed into a strapless Lhuillier cocktail dress. She looks absolutely stunning in both dresses, don't you think? I can't get over how gorgeous their wedding was! Ahh, I love it!
