Tranquil Days and Sultry Nights Look Books from the sample sale Web site
HauteLook. Aren’t they adorable? Aside from the super-cute packaging, the make-up itself is wonderful. Each set includes two cheek colors, two matte eye shadows and two pressed lipsticks. The Tranquil Days palette features soft brown eye shadows, punchy berry lip colors and bright cheek colors, perfect for summer. The Sultry Nights palette is a bit more glam, with deep purple eye shadows, vivaciously dark lip colors and bronzy cheek colors. Feeling that I ought to be politically correct, I haven’t used the Sultry Nights palette as often. But it’s absolutely gorgeous! The make-up also applies excellently, and it feels marvelous on the skin.
I’ll admit I was drawn in by the packaging. The illustrations are just so cute, and the palettes are compact, perfect for the fashionista on the go. While the set is a bit pricey on Aloette’s Web site, I got a tremendously good deal on HauteLook. And I’m so glad I went for it; as my introduction to Aloette’s cosmetics, I’m quite impressed. Keep your eyes open for these little darlings!
