SHE- TOPSHOP

Being the British-obsessed gal that I am, I've always been in the know about fashion in the UK. Topshop is an exclusive fashion hub, specializing in all those 'haute couture' inspired looks for everyday women!  It encompasses all those bright, colorful, and dramatic looks photographed in the glossies. Until early last year, their clothes were only available in the UK. Now, they've opened up  a store in  New York City.

Since then, I've made it my business to take regular trips to Broadway and Broome Street (in Soho, New York City), to get my fashion fix. When I first visited Topshop, I literally felt like I was in a dream. It's one of those places where you'll find this one piece that you can keep and save forever, and you will never see it anywhere else! If you keep up with runway shows, and are inspired by artistic street style, Topshop is definitely the store for you. It even showcases a line by Kate Moss! I will warn that some of the dresses are made a bit short, and can moonlight as a blouse, over leggings, jeans, or trousers.

Topshop is definitely a splurge with dresses running around $90 and up, shirts and blouses from $30 to $50 dollars, and accesories running from $15 to $100. However, it's worth the massive dent in your change purse, even if you only purchase a special necklace for yourself! The plus: Students with valid ID cards or documentation get  10% off, all year round! (that's how I was able to purchase my graduation dress!)

Topshop is the new import for all of you seeking to put a splash into your wardrobe!
